The area which is today known as St. Mary’s Secondary School is situated at eastern outskirt of Adikpo town. The school covers a total land mark of 16.2329H.

The school started as an evening class programme to train girls for entry into post-primary institution of learning in 1963. In June 1972, the evening classes programme was changed into St. Mary’s Vocational school.
